Questions about consulting
Do you help people who have never made a podcast before?
We do, and we love it. Plenty of the people we talk to have an idea and a lot of questions, but no equipment and no plan yet. A free consultation is a relaxed first conversation about your idea, and a paid strategy session turns it into a written plan you can follow.
Do I need any equipment before we talk?
Not at all. You don't need a microphone, a camera or even a finished idea. Part of what we do together is work out what your show actually needs, and our studios already have the cameras, microphones and lighting.
What's the difference between the free consultation and the strategy session?
The free consultation is a relaxed 15-minute call to see whether a podcast makes sense for you and what getting started would involve, with no obligation. The strategy session is a 45-minute working session that ends with a written launch plan for your show, and the plan is yours to keep whether or not you record with us.
Can you help with the business side, like finding guests and growing an audience?
Yes, we can talk it through. We'll help you think about who your show is for, where guests might come from and how often to publish, so that the show is easy to keep going once it's launched. We can't promise a particular audience size, but we can help you build habits that give a show its best chance.
