Editing and clips

Do you offer editing?

Yes. A simple edit is $50 per episode and is usually ready within 24 to 48 hours. An advanced edit is $250 and typically takes 3 to 5 business days. We also create social clips at $45 each.

How do I get my files?

We deliver everything through Dropbox. Download links stay active for 7 days, so please save your files as soon as they arrive.

Can you edit a podcast you didn't record?

Pricing

What's included in a session?

Every studio session includes a producer, two 4K cameras, up to four Shure SM7B microphones and our standard lighting. Your raw footage is delivered within 24 hours.

How long is a session?

Sessions are available from 1 to 8 hours. Our pricing page lists every session length and rate for both studios.

Can we add more cameras or microphones?

Yes. A third or fourth camera angle costs $50 each, and two additional microphones, bringing the total to six, cost $50 together. Each add-on covers the full booking.

How much does it cost to add a remote guest?

Remote recording through Riverside, including our beam-splitter setup, is $100 per booking, plus HST, in addition to the session rate.

How much does on-location recording cost?

Starting at $500 + HST. Every space is a little different, so tell us where you're recording and we'll put together a price that fits.

How much does it cost to produce a podcast?

A one-hour session starts at $300, plus HST. Editing starts at $50 per episode and clips are $45 each.

Is HST included?

No. All prices are in Canadian dollars, plus 13% HST.

Is there a cost per episode?

Sessions are priced by the hour, so the cost per episode depends on how long you record. Recording several episodes in one longer session lowers the cost of each.

Studios and locations

Can you record at our office?

Yes. We bring the full setup to you anywhere in the GTA. See on-location recording.

What kind of space do you need?

Honestly, less than you'd think! A quiet room with space for your chairs and a bit of room for our cameras and lights. Not sure? Snap a photo and send it our way.

Can I just rent the studio?

We offer fully supported recording sessions rather than room-only rentals. Every booking includes the studio, a producer, cameras, microphones and lighting.

Which studio should I choose?

Both studios include the same recording equipment and production support. Choose the setting that suits your show, and compare rates on our pricing page.
